Two original paintings, acrylic on canvas, have been created by the artist to draw attention to the recent vandalism of Buddhist relics in Afghanistan.

HQ Art Gallery are delighted to have secured an exclusive limited edition of high quality prints of these two topical works, each signed by the artist and numbered.

These are excellent prints, in ink on handmade art paper, depicting an exceptional event that will go down in the annals of history.

Alain, an artist living and working in Chiang Mai was born in Grasse, Southern France in 1943. After completing his studies he turned down a career in dentistry to pursue his love of painting full time.

Working in the wonderfully creative atmosphere of the Cote d' Azur and in the stimulating company of many other painters including Picasso, Alain had many of his works exhibited in local galleries and exhibitions.

In 1993 Alain moved to Thailand where he has lived and worked ever since.
His paintings have been displayed in Chiang Mai at Art & Design Gallery, the Kampang Muang Gallery, the Amari Rincome Hotel, Gong Dee Studio & Gallery, Dtoy's Gallery & coffee-shop and most recently at HQ Art Gallery.
