This website is a showcase for artworks by the elephant artists at the National Elephant Institute, Thailand. They make great gifts for animal lovers and for anyone who appreciates beautiful and unique works of art.

Here you will find original paintings that are made by elephants using their own creativity and volition, entirely unaided or directed by human hand. There are no so-called ‘self portraits’, or vases of flowers, or manipulated art of any kind here, only the largest and most amazing collection of creative abstracts by elephants available anywhere in the world.

You will also find here a wealth of educational content about elephants, elephant art and elephant conservation. Please enjoy.

• Both the painting and a Certificate of Authenticity bear the official stamp of the NEI.
• We provide a photograph and printed profile of the elephant artist and the mahout.
• We donate US$30 for every painting sold here to the NEI for the care of elephants.
